
Our Philosophy
We farm because we love good food.
Our creative desires in the kitchen were ultimately what drove us to farm. We wanted to grow the foods and flavors that nourished us, and we wanted to share that goodness with others.
Our goal is to build a resilient resource base through rotational grazing and regenerative land management, careful breed selection, water conservation, and agroforestry.
We are proud to steward this land. We’re continually humbled as we grow and learn in the service of the whole.

We believe in flavor and nutrition. We raise the food that we want and love to eat, and we know you’ll love it, too.
Our animals are outdoors in the sunshine and fresh air, foraging like they’re supposed to. The result is a product packed with vitamins, minerals, and healthy fatty acids.
LAND RESTORATION & REGENERATION
We believe in honoring the land, and we’re building our soil’s health for the long-term.
We’re working with edible tree crops like hazlenuts to help restore the soil and keep riparian zones protected. We carefully choose which animals to graze and where so as to maximize benefits to natural ecosystems.
CLOSING THE LOOP
We believe in closing the loop on our local food system. A portion of our hogs’ diet is blemished fruit from the local co-op, keeping it out of the landfill.
